This school teaches students how to use the mind and body more efficiently by adopting the concept of an internal martial art Tai Chi.

Hapkido, which utilizes circular motions and the opponent's physical momentum, has been enhanced by Tai Chi by following and controlling the internal energy movements rather than the physical body movements.

The traditional Kendo mostly consists of linear offensive techniques, which rely on physical strength, speed, and endurance. This has been enhanced by introducing the circular execution of offensive and defensive techniques, which allows students to deal with an opponent's aggression more dynamically. Also, unlike the typical Kendo training, which encourages the students to shout and scream loudly to bring out their animal-like aggression, this school emphasizes relaxing and calming down the mind to be able to read the intention of an opponent by sensing his internal energy movements, which always precede the body movements.
